Frequently Asked Questions
| Q. | What type of investors do you best serve? |
| A. |
The Robert J. Reby & Company team works well with people who are open to new ideas and who understand the importance of asset allocation* in order to conservatively preserve wealth. In particular, we help people who are retiring from long-term corporate careers and have pensions, stock options and 401(k)s. We also work well with people facing a transition in their lives: widows and widowers, people selling a business, a home or other real estate; even people who are already retired and want a second opinion on their current financial plans. |
| Q. | Do you work on an hourly fee or a commission basis? What do I have to pay you? |
| A. |
Robert J. Reby & Company is a fee-based planning firm, which is in the best interest of our clients. We are not motivated to sell you "products" but rather to give you advice — "What we would do if we were you." Our fees are competitive in the industry and based on your assets under our management. This means that Robert J. Reby & Company does not sell products that are offered by public firms that may be trying to meet sales quotas. Many times, high-commission products are offered by other firms simply to earn the sales representative more money. The Reby team offers possible solutions that make sense to you, the client, not to any third party. The Reby team is independent and makes its own recommendations on your behalf. |
