  • Robert J. Reby, CFP® Named a Top Financial Advisor in Connecticut Magazine

Danbury, CT – Robert J. Reby, CFP® founder and CEO of Danbury-based Robert J. Reby & Company, Inc. has for the second time been named one of the State’s top financial advisors by Connecticut Magazine.  As was the case in 2006, he was the only advisor in the list of 50 named from Southwestern Connecticut and the  top independent financial advisor.  Robert J. Reby & Company, Inc. is a conservative wealth preservation firm predominantly serving the Tri-State area.

The selection system was developed by R.J. Shook, a well-known evaluator of the nation’s top financial advisors and author of The Winner’s Circle® series of books reporting on top financial practices.  Connecticut’s leading financial advisors were compiled from Shook’s list of over 7,000 financial advisors for the entire country.  From this list of individuals, customer satisfaction, client retention, compliance records, as well as assets under management and revenues were used to cull down the list.  Remaining candidates filled out an extensive questionnaire and were interviewed before being selected.  Says Shook, “We’ve gone to Connecticut two or three times to interview candidates.  Before putting them on the list, it’s important to sit down with them just as an investor would.”

An objective ratings system is a good starting point according to Shook and especially important now because of the turbulence in the U.S. economy and financial markets since the middle of last year.  He encourages clients to screen several top advisors and select one with an approach that suits their goals and needs, one with whom they feel a sense of rapport and trust.

Robert J. Reby & Company, Inc.  is an SEC  registered investment advisor specializing in conservative wealth preservation and lifestyle continuation.  The firm is located at 83 Wooster Heights, Danbury, CT – phone # 203-790-4949 – http://www.robertreby.com.  Securities are offered through Royal Alliance Associates, Inc., a registered broker-dealer – member FINRA/SIPC.
